Participating in the Olympic Games was my childhood dream. In 2014, in my hometown of Sochi, my sister was fortunate enough to participate in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics as a volunteer. I remember how proud our parents were of her at the time. I was fascinated by watching her wearing beautiful clothes and presented awards to Olympians.

Eight years have passed, and I graduated from China University of Petroleum (East China) and worked at the Chinese Embassy in Russia.

Many people are full of expectations for this Olympic Games, because Beijing has become the “dual-Olympic city”. Beijing became the first city in history to host both the summer and winter Olympics.

My childhood dream came true. I was fortunate enough to participate in the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games as a volunteer of the Russian Olympic Committee. My responsibilities include translation, accompanying, and assisting in solving various problems after arriving in Beijing.

I lived in China for a long time before the epidemic and traveled a lot, so I am very familiar with the language and culture of this country. I often travel to Beijing and have always dreamed of being able to see the Olympic venues with my own eyes. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday during the Winter Olympics. That day, I visited the National Indoor Stadium and watched the ice hockey game between Russia and Sweden, and then went to watch the ice hockey finals and figure skating finals between Russia and Finland.

It is very exciting to meet athletes from different countries and watch ongoing competitions. Due to the high level organization, I feel great support in every aspect. Whether it is in the Olympic Village, traveling by the world's fastest high-speed rail from the railway station, in the comfortable hotels provided by the organizers of the competition for athletes and delegations, or in the huge international airport, we are accompanied by Chinese volunteers everywhere, and they are always happy to help. Similarly, during the whole process, I  never worry about my health or people around me. It is worth mentioning that the protective measures against COVID-19 are of the highest level.

I realized my dream and was fortunate enough to participate in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. At the Winter Olympics, I met many people from different countries, made many friends, put my knowledge of Chinese and English into practice, and gained new experiences and incredible memories. I hope that my teachers and parents will be proud of me, and I will continue to work hard for our national interests and strengthen the Sino-Russian friendship.

Thank you Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games for giving me this opportunity, China, I love you!
