In order to help new international students adapt to campus life as soon as possible and promote the orderly operation of daily teaching and management in the fall semester of our university, CIE held an orientation session for new students in the fall semester of 2024 on the afternoon of September 19^th. Zhang Zhiying, Vice Dean of the CIE, heads of departments and more than two hundred new international students attended the session. The session was chaired by Sang Yingzi, tutor of international students.

During the session, the heads of the Students Affairs Office, the Immigration Administration Office, the Academic Affairs office and the International Students’Union(ISU) of CIE gave a briefing to the new international students on the laws and regulations, the history of our university, the extracurricular credits, visa and insurance, the use of the teaching management platform, the conditions for graduation, the structure of the ISU, and the cultural and sports activities, etc. and responded to the concerns of the students. The briefing was rich in content and conveyed information concisely and effectively.
