Residence Permit
Residence permit is issued by the Entry-Exit Administration of Qingdao Public Security Bureau, which allows multiple exits and entries. New students with an X1 visa should bring the registration guide together with the following documents to the Visa Center and start a residence permit application after completing all the other registration steps.

Physical examination report from the Qingdao International Travel Health Care Center
Residence Permit Extension
Current students
Confirmation Form for International Student Visa Application(provided by the Visa Center)

Application Procedures
Make an appointment with the Visa Center.
Go along with the Visa Center staff to the public security for an interview.
Go along with the Visa Center staff to the Entry-Exit Administration of Qingdao Public Security Bureau, submit application documents and receive a receipt.
Collect the residence permit in the Visa Center within 7 working days.
Re-register within 10 days after collecting the residence permit at the police station for the temporary residence permit and keep the new Registration Voucher of Residence for Visitors from Overseas for the next residence permit application.
NB: Passport and other application documents will be kept in the Entry-Exit Administration of Qingdao Public Security Bureau till the residence permit application process is finished. Students can travel in China with the receipt.
Application Fee
CNY 400/six months; CNY 800/twelve months.It is subject to change by he Entry-Exit Administration of Qingdao Public Security Bureau
Expired Residence Permit
The expired residence permit is illegal and subject to penalties by the Entry-Exit Administration of Qingdao Public Security Bureau，The bureau will decide on penalties, including verbal warning, fine, detention and deportation in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations. The fine of one day overdue is between CNY 500 and a maximum of 10000. The required materials are as follows:
